Nexus Magnetic, LLC uses supplier declarations, material certifications, bills of material, and other information reasonably available to us to evaluate products for applicable EU RoHS and REACH requirements. Compliance can vary by part number, material, revision, intended use, and applicable exemption. Customers who require a formal declaration should request documentation for the specific product and revision being purchased.
Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) includes communication duties for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) on the Candidate List. As of February 4, 2026, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Candidate List contains 253 entries. Because ECHA updates this list periodically, Nexus Magnetic reviews supplier information against the Candidate List current at the time of assessment.
When applicable, if an article contains a Candidate List substance above 0.1% weight by weight, sufficient information for safe use must be communicated to recipients under REACH Article 33. Consumers may request this information and, where the Article 33 duty applies, it must be supplied free of charge within 45 days.
A product-specific REACH status is based on information available from the relevant supply chain and is not a blanket statement covering every Nexus Magnetic product, configuration, or future Candidate List update.
The primary EU RoHS legislation is Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended, including Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863. For products within its scope, the maximum concentration values apply by weight in each homogeneous material.
Some Nexus Magnetic components may use lead-bearing copper alloys. Where applicable, those components may rely on Annex III exemption 6(c), which permits copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight subject to the exemption's scope and conditions. Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2025/2364 currently lists an expiry date of June 30, 2027, and adds conditions for electrical and electronic equipment or accessible parts that may be placed in the mouth by children. Reliance on an exemption is identified as part of the product-specific compliance assessment.
Nexus Magnetic maintains relevant supplier and material information where available. For the latest regulatory text and Candidate List, consult the ECHA Candidate List, ECHA Article 33 guidance, Directive 2011/65/EU, Directive (EU) 2015/863, and Directive (EU) 2025/2364.
Regulatory lists, exemptions, products, and supplier information can change. Nexus Magnetic may revise this statement when material changes are identified. This page is general information and does not replace a product-specific compliance declaration or legal advice.
