3D Printing & Prototype Fabrication

From a fresh idea to a part we can test

Functional prints for original builds

3D printing turns a digital model into a physical part, one precise layer at a time. At Nexus Magnetic, we use FDM printing to explore new ideas and produce practical components for generators, coil systems, fixtures, enclosures, and one-of-a-kind prototypes.

Each project is an opportunity to design, test, learn, and improve. When a design is ready, we share the files with the open-source maker community so others can build on the idea.

What we can make

Built around the needs of your project

01

Functional Prototypes

Fit-check models, mechanical concepts, housings, brackets, fixtures, and test parts that help prove an idea before committing to final production.

02

Generator Components

Custom coil bobbins, turbine parts, wire-management tools, and supporting hardware developed for experimental wind, hydro, and power projects.

03

Material Options

Material selection based on the job, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, nylon, carbon-fiber blends, and other specialty filaments.

Our creative process

Designed, printed, and refined with purpose

  1. Explore an idea.We identify a useful challenge, sketch possibilities, and turn the strongest direction into a digital model.
  2. Choose the approach.Geometry, material, strength, fit, and real-world use guide how each part is prepared.
  3. Print and evaluate. The prototype is tested as part of the larger build to reveal what works and what should change.
  4. Refine and share. We improve the design, document it, and release project files when they are ready for the community.

Where ideas take shape

Tools for invention and open learning

  • Original generator and turbine concepts
  • Coil-system hardware and custom bobbins
  • Experimental energy projects
  • Jigs, fixtures, enclosures, and organizers
  • Open-source files makers can adapt and improve

Our goal is to turn curiosity into useful designs and give the maker community a practical starting point for new experiments.
