REACH COMPLIANCE:

Nexus Magnetic, LLC requests information from our suppliers to ensure our compliance with regards to Article 33 of the European REACH Regulation N 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals which has entered into force on June 1, 2007 and will be phased in 2018. With the publication of the "candidate list" (Article 59 REACH) on 28 October 2008, Article 33(1) of the REACH Regulation obliges suppliers to inform the recipients of the presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC). At present, 16 substances have been included in the "candidate list". Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC):

1. Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or toxic to Reproduction (CMR), meeting the criteria for classification in Category 1 or 2 in accordance with Directive 67/548/EEC,
2. Persistent, Bio accumulative and Toxic (PBT) or very Persistent and very Bio accumulative (vPvB) according to the criteria in Annex XIII of the REACH Regulation, and/or identified, on a case-by-case basis, from scientific evidence as causing probable serious effects of human health or the environment of an equivalent level of concern as those above (e.g. endocrine disruptors).

Based on available information and analytical data from our suppliers, none of the restricted chemicals are contained in any substance, chemical, part or assembly supplied in Nexus Magnetic, LLC products.

ROHS3 COMPLIANCE:

Beverly MFG. CO., INC., a supplier of components that could be used in products targeted for RoHS compliance, recognizes our responsibility to assist you, our customer, in meeting your environmental policies and procedures. RoHS3 Directive 2015/863/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 4th 2015 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The objective is establishing restrictions on the use of hazardous substances in EEE (electrical and electronic equipment) for the purpose of contributing to the protection of human health and environment.

Restricted substances:

1. Lead (0, 1%)
2. Mercury (0, 1%)
3. Cadmium (0, 01%)
4. Hexavalent chromium (0, 1%)
5. Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) (0, 1%)
6. Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (0, 1%)
7. Bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) (0, 1%)
8. Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) (0, 1%)
9. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) (0, 1%)
10. Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) (0, 1%)

Nexus Magnetic, LLC collects material certifications for our raw materials.
In manufacture of our electronic components, Nexus Magnetic, LLC machines products which contains lead as a percentage of weight above the 0.1% threshold but below the 4% lead by weight allowable under the exemption given in Annex III of the Directive 6(c) “Copper alloy containing up to 4% lead by weight.” These products otherwise do not contain RoHS restricted substances per the above definition. To this end, Nexus Magnetic, LLC manufactures components in compliance with the RoHS3 Directive 2015/863/EU.
Nexus Magnetic, LLC manufactures all other components from raw materials that do not contain banned or restricted substances, and therefore are in compliance with Directive 2015/863/EU. Nexus Magnetic, LLC has furnished this material in good faith to meet the needs of our customers. This data is offered solely for your information and consideration.
